CDAHFD-induced murine metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH) model (mice)
MASH is the steatohepatitis observed in non-drunkards, may lead to fatty liver, cirrhosis, liver cancer.
In non-clinical study, MASH is induced by feeding mice or rats with special food, then liver function blood parameters and degree of liver fibrosis are evaluated to study the effects of drugs. There are some kinds of special food, so that body weight change and degree of liver fibrosis depend on the food. We have some background data, and can offer the appropriate disease model for your purpose.
H-E stained liver.
Background data of C57BL mice fed with choline-deficient methionine-reduced high-fat diet(CDAHFD) for 12 weeks.
